radio application help

Hi all,
i want to create a application that streams a radio station from internet to the iphone, but i was just wondering if anybody has any experience or knows something that may help any feedback or guidance will be more appreciated

seems pretty pointless, IMO.
edge wouldn't be fast enough to stream, and 3G would tear your battery life down so much that it wouldnt be worth it. wifi would work, but you're most likely near a computer if you have wifi available.
