Radio Station giving away free iPhones

Just in case anyone wants to try to get one early...Wired 96.5 in Philadelphia is giving iPhones away all weekend long. HEre is a link.

I believe that they have a live internet stream so that anyone in the country can try to call in and win. I am not in the market for one, but I thought it was interesting.

Not sure how it works though. They say that they have 400 of them in the station. I imagine that they cannot be activated until the 29th, especially since plan information is available yet.

I'm not even going to try winning an iPhone on one of these contests. Even if you win, I highly doubt that the station will be inclined to get you one in any sort of timely fashion. The whole thing is a marketing gimmick to get more listeners, and once the contest is over, they have achieved there goal and have little incentive to promptly deliver your prize.

To be honest I kind of wanna try that exact phone out and see what kind of device it is. It maybe surprisingly good(as a phone or for what it is), but it won't have the same class the iPhone will.

Cant get the station to play. From the sounds of everyone else though, maybe that is a good thing.
