I'm back with more questions.:) A friend gave me his old Mini recently, in the 2008 range I think. Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz, 4 GB or RAM, and GeForce 9400, I think. Now, I know I won't get 45 FPS on high, or even medium for that matter, with this set-up, but any ideas on Medium-Low? I know, exact specifications haven't been released yet, but anyone have any thoughts on what I could expect?

your graphic card is tier 4 class which is worst than Intel HD 3000. processor is Ok. but even though yours will run the game, you don't want to play it at 10fps. don't you? so you'd better buy new one or just get gaming PC.

10? try 2.

His processor is not ok. It's a Core 2 Duo laptop processor. Not the desktop class one (which also would not be ok for this game)

With my setup (iMac 2.8Ghz Core2Duo, 4Gb RAM, ATI Radeon HD2600 Pro 256Mb), I'll be lucky to get 10 FPS with everything on Low.
If you get more than 2 FPS with Rage, let me know, I'll eat my shoe...

I didn't think it would, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. So, what about something like Bad Company 2, or L.A. Noire? Yeah, I know completely different games. Looks like I might be buying a PS3, just to play RAGE...

It will run smooth as silk! Just been playing it.....as posted above, the older mini won't touch it I'm afraid.

The iPad Rage is a minigame and not the game coming to PC...

OP - Yeah, it's not going to run it! Or any of those games you mentioned. I used to have the 9400m iMac. Worked okay for new Source games (under Windows of course) but I doubt it would run at all for new games. Especially for OSX ports!
