Hello,

First time post, unsure if I have it in the right section.

I brought a OWC thunderbolt external hard drive, with 4 bays running thunderbolt 2 almost 4 years ago. Has worked like a charm. When I got it, I re-formatted the 4x 5TB hard drives that came with it, using Mac OSX at the time (I believe it was Raid0 - I think), and got a 20Tb hard drive - all good.

Now, I've finally decided to buy a new MacBook with Thunderbolt 3, and looking to buy Akitio Thunder3 Quad X 4-Bay Thunderbolt 3 from B&H, but before I do I need to know if I can place those 4 5Tb hard drives into the new enclosure and use them like I have, only now in a new system. Can anyone help? Will it work or will I need to buy new Hard drives and transfer across?
I do intend on buying new hard drives soon, but with a new mac and new hard drive enclosure, it would be a few months before I could.

Thanks for the help.
