The Mac Pro ram thread got me thinking - if the Mac Pro runs faster with the larger sticks/amount in the Riser A, does the iMac run faster with the larger stick in the lefthand bay, the only apple prepopulates with a 1gb stick? I added a 2gb stick into the 2nd bay, but would it be more beneficial to swap them, and have the 2gb stick in bay 1?

Anyone have any data on this, or is it all anecdotal?

It doesn't matter - not for the iMac as the memory tech is not comparable to the Mac Pro.

Get another 2GB stick and replace the 1GB in the original bay and you won't have to wonder. :D

I put 4GB in mine yesterday, and I could swear I heard it singing "I believe I can fly..."
