RAM brand in C2D MBPS?

What brand are the 1gb sticks in the new c2d mbps?
Are there different ones?

I'm thinking about getting the 2.16 with 1gb for starters, see how it works and then possibly get another 1gb elsewhere(much cheaper, as we all know).
I suppose it'd be optimal if both sticks were the same brand, som I'm just curious which they use as standard.

Mine has Samsung brand RAM.

That's what I did. After I bought it, I opened it up and checked what RAM was installed. Then I bought the exact same RAM on eBay for about half the cost of what Apple Charges to upgrade. Now I have 2Gb dual channel.

You do need to be careful when buying on eBay, but if you know what you are doing you can find good deals. I purchased the same exact Samsung RAM that OWC is selling for $164.99, only I paid about $70 less.
