If you use a MacBook (circa 2014/5) to upload photos to the Internet, are the caches of those photos stored on RAM and other parts of the computer besides the SSD?
(I'm trying to find some old photos)

The RAM is volatile and gets cleared when you shut down. It’s not a place you can look for photos. Do you have external backup drives or cloud storage where the photos might still exist?
