Hi,

I'm trying to boost my old Mac Pro (early 2008) and un-surprising RAM prices are very expensive for the older stuff.

I've found this RAM reading the info it would look to match my machine can one confirm I am right or tell me I am wrong. It's about 50% cheaper so I have my concerns its the wrong stuff.

Corsair TWIN2x2048-6400C5C 4GB 800MHz C5 DDR2
Two matched 2GB modules for use with AMD and Intel DDR2 systems
Mainstream 800MHz solutions
Latency of 5-5-5-18 for maximum reliability and performance
XMS Heat Spreader

Thanks,

Not compatible.

Search eBay/Google/amazon or whatever for "FB-DIMM 800", since you need pairs of 800MHz FB-DIMMs.
