RAM for Macbook

Are there any incompatability issues between brands and Apple-installed RAM? I'm thinking of getting a 1 GB stick.

Not really, as long as the RAM you buy is certified to work on Apple laptops.

Not sure about other vendors, but Crucial has a search function - you enter in your machine details and it brings up all avail. RAM.
