Now for the NEXT machine...

We picked up RAM on sale last Sunday at Best Buy (PNY). I have a matching pair of 1GB x 2 "Elixir" sticks. All specs are cleared for takeoff (PC2-5300, DDR2 667, 200 pin, non-ecc, pretty bluish with shiny gold contacts, etc.).

Anyone use Elixir in their Macs? The website @ http://www.elixir-memory.com is entertaining enough. And they declair compatibility with Apple. After this recent mishap, I just was wondering if any of you have tried this Elixir stuff? Good, bad or ugly????

Thanks

LOL - I am responding to my own post for the benefit of others. The Elixir RAM (matched pair of 1GBx2) is installed in my Black MB Core Duo. So far it is running perfect. ;)
