Anyone have any insight into the amount of RAM in each of the new devices? Same 4gb/6gb with the 12/12 Pro respectfully or have they increase it for the 13/13 Pro?

Doubtful.
Both pros will likely have the same amount but the regular vanilla 13 is probably going to have less

Or both have 6, or pro's have 8 and regular just 6.

With the addition of DV 4k60 in the regular models, they would need at least the same amount as last year's pros.

Can someone tell me, since iPhone 13 PRO uses 6GB of RAM, does it have to reload the previously opened apps LESS often as a result? Eg. reloading Safari with several tabs open, or Ig, Fb etc?

I’ve got an 8 Plus with 3 GB of RAM and it never has to reload apps suspended in the background.
My old 6 Plus has 1 GB of RAM and every app in the background has to reload if anything is done on the active app. That phone is strangled from lack of RAM.
4 GB or more of RAM on the 13 will be fine

How many apps do you have in the background?

I’ve never kept track, but usually around 6. I force quit them all when I shut down the phone each night. Start the next day with zero and launch them as I need them.

Well, obviously it doesn't need to reload apps then, when you only have 6 apps in the background..

My course of action with the App Switchrr is — if I don’t think I’m going to need an app again that day, I force quit it. The App Switcher becomes too cluttered and unusable if every app is left suspended in the background. It becomes unweildy. Also it’s unnecessary.
