Ram Question

Hello all,

I own a Imac g5 (w/isight - rev c)
currently got it running 1 gb of ram so a 512 module is in its spare.

anyways i have been suffering a bit with memory usage editing some 500 meg files. As i cant justify the 2gb chip, would adding the 1gb make much difference?

Adding the extra 1GB will make a big difference. As for the compatabilility I would go for something that states it will work in you iMac. ie crucial.com
