I just installed 64 GB (4x16GB) sticks of memory and when I did GeekBench 5 test it showed that my RAM was running at 1066 MHz instead of 1866 Mhz. My Mac Pro is equipped with the base quad core processor. Is it suppose to run slower or is there something I can do to correct it? Will the RAM running slower if I upgrade to the 10 core or 12 core processor?

I have the same Mac and installed 64 GB of memory from OWC.
"About this Mac" shows 1866 Mhz DDR3.

I would remove the memory and verify all 4 sticks are the same description/part number.
There might be a slower stick mixed in, or maybe they just need to be reseated.

Ram speed?!? Well that depends on how many slaves you have maning the oars of your war galley...

Oh wait, ram speed, not ramming speed... My bad :)
