Hi everyone,

I have an iMac 27", which i bought on Jan 2010.

CPU: 2.66 GHz Core i5.
RAM: Samsung 2x2GB DDR3 1066 MHz

I am planning to buy 2x4GB DDR3 1333 MHz, and I am wondering if the new RAMs will work fine with the one previously installed.

Thanks in advance :)

Thy should work together with the new higher rated ram falling back to the slower speed of the already in place ram. Now this is the theory sometimes it does not work as advertised the only way to tell is to actually put the new ram in there. Just make sure you can return/exchange for different brand if they don't work well with the old ones.
