Hi guys, wonder if you can help.
I have 16GB RAM (2X8GB) in my Imac and although its not too sluggish I thought I would buy another pair of 8GB to make it extra zippy and total 32GB.
I used the checker on the crucial website and then purchased from Amazon as I had a voucher to use.
7 weeks later and my Imac suddenly experienced kernel errors and eventually wouldn't even let me get to the login screen. I unplugged each USB device with no change until I unplugged the new RAM and it seems its ok now.
Crucial result stated I required
The crucial suggestion does not exactly match any on Amazon and a lot of the reviews used that RAM for the same spec/age/size machine.

I'm just wondering whether I have got unlucky with a rare faulty product as I know how well regarded crucial is.
Thanks in advance,
Abi
