I went today to pick up some ram for the mini. I thought I was buying the 2x1gig set but when i got home I realized I picked up the 1x2gig package. No biggie really, but now I am running the mini with 2.5gigs of ram. Is there any side effect to having 1 2 gig stick and 1 1/2 gig stick? It reads and seems to run faster and it also benchmarks better. I know that I will lose the dual channel effect but I have used that before and have not seen much of a gain from it.
