Normally I could get a few days' worth of use out of my laptop before Safari and other apps crank up my RAM usage. Now my RAM usage is nearing 100% of my 16GB within a few minutes of restarting and using Safari the same way I normally do. I think I noticed it a bit before updating to 10.10.4 earlier today, so I don't know what might be going on... Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.

Well, seems kind of obvious to suggest - but have you checked what thoughts Activity Monitor has about it? What is specifically the cause? Safari alone?

Nothing appears to be out of the ordinary in Activity Monitor. Nothing else odd in iStat either that I can detect. Seems reasonably stable right now...
