This is very odd, some of my album art has vanished in iOS 5. It actually shows the album as having the art, but when you play a song from the album, no art is found. It seems to only be a few random songs in my music collection. Anyone experience this same thing? Go to one of your playlists on your new iPhone, play through the songs and see if all of them have the album art pictures they're supposed to. Yours may be missing album art too, and you just haven't realized it yet. Any ideas? Yea I can go back and put the album art back on a song-by-song basis, but that's a pain in the ass and I don't know precisely which songs are missing album art without playing every mp3 file on my iphone.

I had this problem. I deleted all the music on my iPhone and reloaded (iTunes is fine it's just music on the device;)) my music. It seems to have corrected this. At least I haven't seen any without art yet.

Something similar happened with some of my movies. Only on movies I had ripped and not bought from iTunes, and only some of them.

The affected movies have no artwork, and also the option to add artwork in iTunes on Mac is greyed out.
Pretty crappy.

It lets you add the art individually, but if you have 10 songs from the same album missing artwork, you can't highlight all 10 songs and add the artwork once for all 10 - it will be grayed out. Really pisses me off.

If they are all on the same album, why don't you just right click on the album, select Get Info and then click on the Album Artwork box?

Me too, I only have my own videos, I'm a cinematographer and have some commercials I've shot and my demo reel, but some of them don't have artwork and can seem to add it, the tab is grayed out!

Anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks in advanced.
