Hi everyone, I've been having an issue with my MacBook Pro M2 Pro (2023) in the past few weeks.

Every few days I start to see UI glitches. Parts of the UI of the applications disappear or move in other parts of the screen, and they start to move around as soon as I scroll or move something. Sometimes the letters are swapped with other letters. The weird thing is that the glitching parts stay within the application windows.

The only way to get out of this situation seems to be to logout or restart the system, or the system will keep having this issue after it starts to appear.

I tried everything I could think of: disconnecting the external display, closing the lid, switching users, restarting Finder, reinstalling macOS, nothing worked. The issue is present on both the internal and external display and it once appeared even when the external display was disconnected.

The issue started to appear randomly 1 or 2 months ago (and re-appears once a week), but not after software updates or other significant changes. I'm on Sonoma 14.6.1 currently.

Any ideas? Apple support is completely clueless unfortunately.

The only similar case I found is this one, with no solutions.
