Oh man that was harder than I expected, anyways I have successfully installed the SSD and put back my original 500GB inside. After installing the Mavericks, I have chosen the option to create my fusion drive. Everything is working fine except... there are random freezes that I cannot control.

I thought at first Mavericks is doing indexing (or something similar) for the first time so some freezes are normal. However after running for 3-4 hours, I still experience some freezes. Has anyone experienced this before?

Just for reference, I am using Crucial M4 128GB SSD and my Mini is 2012 Mini.

Just some thoughts, may or may not be relevant.

Since the freezes happen after a period of time has elapsed, perhaps there is heat buildup inside that may be causing a connection to "go marginal" on you.

If you can't resolve the problem through other means, it might help to "go back in" again and re-seat the drive connections, etc.

But do this only after you've exhausted all other possibilities.
