Hi guys,
Within the last 2 weeks or so, mainly since 3.0.1, but it happened in 3.0 once/twice, I've lost the internet randomly, on Wifi, and 3G/EDGE/Cell.
It gives me no warning, I just randomly lose it, my icon is still fine, it still says connected/3G, but I just have no internet, everything times out or says the server is offline or cant be found ETC.
The only way to fix this is to restart the phone, which I've had to do 5 times in the last 2 days.
Also, when I turn it on, it will still say "searching", rather than o2-UK, like it should, however, I can still send/recieve calls/texts, this is still happening, I turned my phone on 2 hours ago, and it still says "searching".
I paid for the extra insurance on my phone in the shops, should I email/ring them, ask for a replacement, I've heard if you have an 16GB 3G, they give you a 3Gs ;)
So what should I do? I don't really want to reset, I'd lose game saved data? Or should I ring them and get a new one :)
Thanks guys!

Hey,
Small update:
It took around 5-6 hours to stop "searching", in which I got around 5 texts, and sent around 4.
Anyone else had this problem, or dealt with the UK o2 "Help" Team?
Thanks
Joseph Duffy

Most likely an o2 problem. Suppose it could be a hardware problem, your best bet right now would probably be calling up o2.

In the beginning with the iPhone 3G when I was on AT&T there were many problems like this, but they were eventually fixed with software updates.
