iPod Random iPod Nano Shutoff

My iPod nano 3g started to randomly shut itself off after about 2-2 1/2 minutes while playing a song, so in the middle it would just stop and turn off. Has anyone else experienced this?
 
To anyone else having this problem: I synced it and it works fine now.
