Random Lags with iPad Pro HDMI Out?

Hi, has anyone here experienced random and short (about 1s) lags on their iPad Pro's HDMI out?
 
Appears to me that the Lightning to HDMI adapter can be at fault since similar symptoms appeared in two iPhones
