hi i am trying to determine what has been causing sporadic crashes to safe mode on my phone.

its particularly tricky because it ALWAYS happens whilst the phone is idle and in the lock screen (standby). additionally, it happens randomly - it can take 2 or 3 days before it happens.

it never crashes whilst its being used, but i have reasons to believe the crash generally follows a prolonged use of the phone (after using safari or flipboard, or any other app for an hour, for instance). I cannot be 100% sure of this but it appears to be a pattern. and i repeat, it will not crash whilst in use, it will wait until i turn it off and then, perhaps a few seconds later, go into safe mode.

these are the tweaks i have installed:

-activator
-adblocker
-adblocker networks
-bytafont
-color keyboard
-folderenhancer
-gps weather lockscreen
-gridlock 2.0
-icaughtu light
-ifile
-ilex rat
-iwidgets
-jellylock
-lockinfo 5
-lockscreen clock hide
-mapsOpener
-mobileterminal
-mylocation
-no lock bars
-openSSH
-snow cover simple
-springtomize 2
-wallpaper jpegifier
-winterboard
-battery doctor pro

any help or hint much appreciated!!

Maybe its a conflict between all the lockscreen tweaks you have installed like LockInfo, JellyLock, GPS Weather Lockscreen, etc?

JellyLock is notorious for not working after you uninstall apps or tweaks before removing it from JellyLock's settings.

thanks for the heads up, but i havent removed any app that is or has been used as a shortcut in jellylock (if this is what you meant by being in jellylock's settings?)

ya i suppose the obvious thing would be a conflict between tweaks that use the lockscreen... but the again why doesnt it happen all the time? why can the phone run for two days without a crash before it happens?

I too have been experiencing the exact same crash behavior. Every so often the phone crashes into safe mode after I input my PIN to unlock my phone...

Try removing LSFlatAlerts. That was causing occasional safe modes on my 4S when the phone was locked (usually I'd wake up to the phone safe mode).

The crashing occurred before installing LSFlatAlerts. Only happens occasionally after the phone sits all night and I unlock it in the morning.

well its not exactly the same then... my just sits idle when it crashes. there is absolutely no input from me.

Oh ok that is different then

Ah, I gotcha. I can't be 100% sure that it was LSFlatAlerts causing my issue, but it only started happening after installing it and hasn't happened since uninstalling it. My crashes were pretty much exactly what the OP is describing.
