So it appears that the disconnects from my RAID box appear to have been a bad TB2 cable. This could have caused all of the issues I've had back to Catalina, etc. The cable in question appeared to be working as it would cause the drive to light up, etc. However, I replaced the cable and haven't had a 'eject disk properly' error in 24 hours.

Note to self: never assume a cable is good, even if it provides *some* functionality

How do these go bad when they are hardly ever moved/plugged/unplugged?🤷‍♂️
