I have an iPhone 8 Plus wish restrings no less then 15 times a day. These usually take 5-10 seconds and then the phone is back. Happened on my 7 Plus but not as frequent as well as my iPad pro 10.5. All are on iOS 11. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I can't be the only one. Setup as new seems like the nuclear option I would love to avoid.

I have a 6S and it happens to me as well (11 and 11.0.1)

I'm very disappointed with Apple.

This is happening to me as well since the 11 update. I have the 7+. I went to iMore to see about a clean install since they have a guide but they insist its not needed since the update does all the work like a fresh install. I guess ill go back to 10. Haven't played on my ipad enough to noticed it.

Wow I can't believe they are still having this problem. Besides the artificial slow down of iOS, I use to have resprings with my iPad devices especially with the iPad pro 9.7. It was worst when using safari. Artificial slow downs and the resprings made me never turn back for the most part.

Well I did a clean install and it still happens. Seems to be less frequent but nonetheless still there. Does anyone know if this is a common issue ? Ot is it perhaps an app or something ?

Can someone tell me of this is a widespread problem. A little concerned it might be my device.

No resprings here on my 6s or 10.5 on iOS 11. Can’t remember the last time I had one. Both running as smooth as iOS 10 on latest beta.

I would do a complete reset and delete all contents. Make sure to transfer your data to your mac/pc before doing that.
If that doesn't help I would downgrade to 10.3.3 until 11.1 releases. You could try the public beta as well. I'm downloading it now to see if it runs better on my 6S

Same here on my iphone 7+. Random resprings in iOS11. Installed 11.0.1 and still happening. Never had this in previous iOS

This has gotten out of control. Anybody have any luck solving the respring issue?

Would love to but unfotunately I have an 8 plus and am stuck in ios 11 hell

Well, if you are having these issues and troubleshooting isn't helping, perhaps you might want to contact Apple to see what they can do (maybe even have it replaced).

Giving 11.1 update a try......throwing everything I have at this problem :)

Stock resprings are the worst :p

Takes the wind out of the argument that jailbreak makes things so unstable (tho it can)

My 10.1.1 7+ never crashes

Same with 11.0 on 12.9 gen 2. It did once in the beginning but hasn't since and I've used GM since it came out before OTA date

Never had a respring on my 8+ so far. I had them on the 7+ and it turned out to be an app which had a defective database in its user data. In my case it was Spark and I figured it out by reading Xcode console logs.

I deleted the app and reinstalled it. The resprings were gone instantly. So check for misbehaving apps.

Did you try iOS 11.1? I've been having the problem on my iPhone 8 Plus as well, but only a couple of times a day.
Still pretty annoying.

11.1 beta 1 did not fix the problem. I have done a clean install and the problem still exists. Hopefully this will get fixed soon. Let's keep each other up to date with this issue or resolutions

Whew, I haven't experienced resprings since the 2013 iPhone 5S + iOS 7 days.

Really I think it was iOS 7.0x was still a bit wet behind the ear, was fixed around 7.1 as I recall.

If you have the issue on a clean install you could have a defective phone. But try iOS 11.0.2 as resprings on a beta are expected.

I would seriously ship it straight back to apple. This is unacceptable for such an expensive device.
