Every day or so I'll come across a song in an album that is missing from my phone. Doesn't appear in the Music app, Spotlight search, nothing. But when I plug it into iTunes, it says it's on the phone! I have to delete and re-add the song to get it to appear in the music app. WTF? Anyone else seeing this issue? I'm really regretting my decision to upgrade to iOS10. The honeymoon is over and now it's just constant frustration.

This happened to me when I enabled iCloud Music Library. The Music App in it'a current form seems to be built on a "We'all decide what you listen to" basis. I want an iPod classic

I'll give that a shot

Or I'll use this as a great excuse to upgrade my old iPod Classic to SSD.

The sucky thing is, I don't even use iCloud or Apple Music! All my tunes are good old-fashioned local storage, ripped from CDs.

Had this the other day, where it was playing fine, then it goes to a track and just stops working.

Had to close the app, and load a different play list in order to get any song to work at all.
