I haven't figured out any kind of pattern yet, but it has happened quite a few times over the last couple days. Basically, I'll be browsing the internet or using the FaceBook App and I'll notice that I don't have WiFi bars and it just says LTE or 4G. WiFi will reconnect fairly quickly all on its own. I'm at home and in the same room as my 5th gen Airport Extreme router, which has never given me any issues, so I'm going to assume that isn't the problem.

Is anyone else is experiencing random WiFi disconnects?

*edit* I'm sure it is entirely possible that I'm having issues due to the 5s being 64 bit, but I'm not sure how that'd be related to WiFi. Additionally, I only have F.lux installed.

Nothing but jailbreak installed, and not having this issue. Sure it's not just coincidence?

I've seen the same thing after jailbreaking my 5s. I have no tweaks installed yet. Problem is I can't tell you for sure if it was happening before the JB or not. Actually I think it may have been happening before the JB. Wifi icon will disappear randomly for a few seconds. Sometimes switching apps will bring it back or I'll switch wifi off and back on real quick. FYI I'm using a cheapie dual band Cisco wireless router. WPA2 with the SSID hidden. Odd thing about this router I've noticed is that none of my wireless devices want to connect to it (initially) with the SSID hidden. If I broadcast the SSID then devices will connect. Once a device is connected I can then turn the SSID broadcast back off and the devices seem to reconnect after that.

It is entirely possible that it's a coincidence. I guess I'll just keep watching it.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't happening before, but I'm not 100% positive. I don't have my SSID hidden, but it is WPA2 Personal encryption enabled.

Maybe I'll try connecting to my 2.4GHz band instead of the 5GHz and see if the issue shows up again.

I'm jail broken on the 5s on 7.0.4 and only have flux installed. I did a fresh restore as new before jailbreaking. I do not experience this wifi issue. Strange you have it. What have you tried to fix it?

I haven't tried anything yet besides observing when it happens. Maybe a fresh restore and re-jailbreak is in order.

Restore back to stock and see if the wifi drop still occurs.

Make sure you "set up as new". I had all kinds of WiFi problems with my iPad Air. It connected fine, but would drop the connection every few minutes. I tried everything: Reset Network Settings, changed the band on my router, removed the WPA security, etc. Nothing fixed it.

I actually took it back to the Apple Store because I was sure it was defective. As a last resort, the "genius" restored it as "new" and and not from a backup and it's worked perfectly since. This was all pre-JB.
