So i was ecstatic when i seen you can FINALLY create separate photo albums in the photo app

so i go on and create a new photo album for pix i take of my nephew and move all the photos of him to the new photo album

to my surprise, even though the pix moved to the new album they are also STILL sitting in the original camera roll

I'm thinking "why the hell would i want the same pix in here when i moved them for a reason"

so i go to delete them out the camera roll (so they're JUST in my newly made album) and get the message "this photo is used in an album, do you want to delete it everywhere?" and theres isn't a YES or NO option! you either delete it entirely or ur stuck with the same pictures in 2 different places

this makes NO SENSE to me and drives me crazy, why ASK me like you're giving me the option when you're not

UGH

The UI doesn't actually say "move" anywhere, just "add to". This is also how iPhoto works - your photos are always present under "Photos", even if you split them into events or albums.

That said, I'd also like "move" better.

I agree too, it's like the whole point of putting them in a new album is for clearing out the camera roll.
