From what I've seen of both, iWeb is a lame ripoff of RapidWeaver. I really like rapid weaver. It's flexable, easy and it can publish to other servers (not just .Mac). One thing I wish i could change about RapidWeaver is the ability to add a picture as the header. It's only jst texy. but thta is a minor thing.

From what I've seen, Rapidweaver gives you more control over the code and has more diversity as far as templates go. I think the folks behind Rapidweaver are one step ahead of Apple, and has a very large user/fan base and don't have a big competion with iWeb.

I just got iLife '06 today. After checking out iWeb, I'm not too impressed. Rapid Weaver has better templates and many 3rd party templates. 12 templates with iWeb is a pretty feeble attempt. I'm sticking with Rapid Weaver.
