I have a .rar file I need to extract and open, what will do the job? Do I need to download Stuffit?

StuffIt will work, but a search in these forums will turn up other programs as well. This has been covered before.

Stuffit is usually okay, but doesn't always get RAR right. UnRarX does a very nice job, though.
