I made a small app a while back that wraps a basic GUI around RAR. I needed to create RAR archives on the Mac and there simply wasn't a GUI way of doing it. RarMe has enjoyed a reasonable amount of success over the past few years, clocking up thousands of downloads and tons of positive feedback. You might even have used it. All these gorgeous web sites and beautiful apps have inspired me to perhaps attempt to firstly redesign RarMe's web site to look more professional and sexy, and then have a stab at RarMe itself. I'm sure a good interface designer could mock up a much sexier look for RarMe.
Edit: I just checked out the other Rar app for OS X - SimplyRAR. They've put a lot of work into it since I last looked, and I really don't see much point in continuing with RarMe in light of what SimplyRAR offers. So the focus of my endeavours now will be Rebus. See below for a scant few details
I'm also working on another small and simple app - a game, of sorts - that will be a free download (though I'm hoping to offer non-required "expansions" at a dollar or two each). I'd love an artist or designer who can help to design an icon for it, give it a real identity and create a web page, as with RarMe. It's called Rebus, and that should give you some clue as to what it does (which really isn't much, but it does what it needs to).
Both are simple but cool little apps. Both are free. I can't afford to pay anyone to do this work for me, since these are freeware rather than shareware apps, but any profit from advertising would naturally be shared (though ideally I'd not want any adverts if possible).
