rating songs in iTunes 5

ok so w/ iTunes 5
is there a way to rate songs by using some sort of 3rd party software (or something) that i can have up on the taskbar?
(that's the bar @ the top of the screen i think)

in the past, i've used a program called Rating Bar
But- the webpage doesn't exist- all searches come up blank...etc
i LOVE how simple the prgm is -

It has a bit more that what you're looking for, but you might try Synergy: it will allow you to rate songs via function keys. Plus, you get a translucent song info window and more hotkeys (if you want them). 5€ registered, for Classic, but I don't think the non-registered version is crippled in anyway.

Haven't tried it with iTunes 5, but I can't see why it wouldn't work.
