Disappointed that I appear to have knackered my left A/P/P by wearing them to sleep for a few nights last week. They're not even a year old yet. It now rattles and buzzes really really badly, presumably because I have inflicted permanent damage to the driver by lying on that side for an extended period of time. I didn't expect something priced at £250 to be damaged so easily when I've regularly slept wearing a pair of unbranded £15 wired earbuds from Home Bargains for the last five years with absolutely no ill effects to the (albeit low-aspirational) sound.

Probably I'll buy some Sony WF-1000XM4 next. They seem well reviewed and are likely to be more of a premium product with the durability to match their price, rather than just a lifestyle product to be seen wearing.

Might be the reported issue with AirPods Pro rather than you using them in bed, as I have had mine replaced twice under Apple repair service.

I’d be worried about the pressure on them in that situation. Not only because of a risk to the buds, but also my ear.

The only time I’ve worn them whilst sleeping, I only wore one on the side away from the pillow, due to the noisy environment (close to a highway) & so needed to use Noise Cancellation.
