I just updated my 9.7 pro to a 11” pro this week and went ahead and tried the ipadOS beta on it since I was starting fresh. Bought a usb c hub and plugged my canon sd card into it. The card shows up fine in the files app, but I can never get them to show RAW previews or even load by clicking them or holding and selecting preview. Just white file icons. Am I expecting something it can’t do or is this just a bug in the beta? I watched some YouTube vids before and seemed like this should have been supported. I tried an older card with jpegs and they loaded fine mostly. Any thoughts?

I did some testing with this in Dev beta 1. Only RAW files with embedded JPG thumbnails showed a preview in Files.

After a quick google, canon raw files should have embedded thumbnails. And I would think it should eventually load something when opening the file. I’m leaning toward bug right now.

Quite possibly, yep. I'm no expert on the topic.

I have no problem importing my Canon RAW files on iPP 11 db4 (or db3). I shoot only in RAW so there is no JPG to import.

Editing RAW in the new photo app is really nice as well. Not quit Lightroom, but very good none the less
