I was taking some long distance shots when hiking. Some shots looked quite nice even with 10X zoom.

So I wondered how much better a RAW phone would look like, so I opened up an app called "ProCamera" that allows me to shoot in RAW. But when I looked at the result, the pictures were dark as hell and needs alot of corrections to make it look like how it should be.

Is this normal or could be camera be defective or is maybe the app "ProCamera" bad? The stock camera app makes great pictures though, even with digital 10X zoom.
