i recently bought my self a black razor phone (well my mum did :p ), even though i promised to my self that i would never buy a phone with a camera but i needed a phone and the razor was the sexiest phone i could see in the shop.

ok to my problem with isync. being a lazy person i couldn't be bother to add my contacts manually into my phone, so i loaded up isync and synced my up contacts. it worked of course but my problem is that isync is sending all separate pieces of people contacts information as different contacts.

e.g. if a person in my address book has mobile, home and email data in their vcard, isync will send all that data as separate vcards to my phone. at first it though my phone didn't suppose multiple contact numbers for each contacts, but i discovered out that it does.

so it is clear that isync is choosing the send the data as separate vcards and isync knows my phone is a V3 razor.

does anyone know a way get isync to send singular vcards for my contacts. any help will be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Nope the RAZR V3 doesn't support multiple numbers per name. It does support organizing them by name so by going left or right you can look at their other numbers - but they're still separate contacts.

heh, i moved from a t610 to a moto razr around a month ago. it has a lot of flaws, but the looks definitely make up for it.

also, i dont know if you use bluetooth file transfer with your phone, but since i upgraded to tiger, mine has been really intermittent. it's kinda annoying!

yes the razor definitely looks far better than any other phone i have seen in the market, but i am sure it could be better.

and no i have not used file transfer with my razor yet i have only done syncing over bluetooth and it has worked fine other that the phone not supporting the features i want it to.

i have noticed one thing about the razor phone and that is that the front screen of the phone shares the same backlight as the actual phone screen that explains why the front screen has such weak lighting.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE RAZOR WILL UPLOAD NUMBERS BACK TO ADDRESS BOOK VIA ISYNC - VIA BLUE TOOTH? SO FAR IT'S BEEN A ONE WAY STREET FOR ME - FROM LAPTOP TO RAZOR, WHICH IS GOOD - BUT ALWAYS LOSING NUMBER IN A PHONE, IF YOU LOSE THE PHONE - IS AN ISSUE, ONE I HOPED I HAD SOLVED.

I've been dying to get the V3,
but read on other threads the problem with multiple entries for contacts, as well as problem transferring pics from the phone to a mac.

I'm running 10.3.9, will i need to upgrade to get this functionality?

What other phones are very compatible with the mac?
I want BT connectivity, ability to take pics and put them in my pbook, and sync my address books.

I wonder if there will be any phone that fully embraces the Mac and looks like the Razor V3? Mail, iCal, Address Book, Entourage, photos, music, Quicktime, video iChat client, compatible with widgets, etc. Perhaps it is too difficult to create a phone that cool from the folks from Motorola and others.
