Is there any way to hack into a MotoRAZR V3/V3i and change the external display picture (when open)...like instead of the carrier logo or Motorola logo? Instructions would be nice. Thanks!

I have done this. You need a few PC only apps to get started though. howard forums will point you in th eright direction.
Illegal? No. Frowned upon by your carrier and Moto? Yes. Warranty voiding? Possibly. But illegal, definitely not.
Well... at least in the case of verizon it requires software that isn't available for purchase easily. Obtaining that software is illegal... using it, probably not.

That provides instructions for verizon and I'd imagine it would work with other RAZRs as well.
Yeah, but if he has a backup RAZR, or friend/family wants it done, it is always nice to lend a hand.
My Mum's Razr shows the Orange logo. A bit excessive considering they've wrecked the menus, and have a logo on the back cover.
