Hi everyone. Very simple and possibly silly question, my iOS devices have all been running the beta of 17 and so of course everything updated to RC last week after the Wonderlust event.

Question I have is, am I effectively on the public release now? Or is there another final update that pushes me to public release? Also, should I turn off the iOS 17 Beta slider in Software Updates or does that happen automatically when I get updated to public?

Thanks. I did this last year with the betas and can’t for the life of me remember what I did about it.

The RC is the same as the final release so no need to update. You may need to turn off beta updates to prevent future betas from loading on to your phone.

Perfect, thank you! Exactly what I was wondering when I updated to the RC but the Beta slider was still active. I've turned them off now. I'll turn the Beta slider off on Sonoma as soon as the public release drops next week as well.
