RCS Issue

I was texting someone on RCS that has android. I sent a picture that would not go through so I sent it as an SMS. Well now he receives my text but I do not receive his messages because I am still stuck on SMS. How do you get the messages to revert back to RCS? I have switched it on and off in the settings but it will not go back. I also deleted the message and started fresh but still nothing.

Try Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

If that doesn't work, try turning the phone off and on again.

If that still doesn't work, you might need to contact your carrier.

And if that somehow still doesn't work, you'll just need to set up a shrine to Steve Jobs in your closet and pray for forgiveness for texting a green bubble. (this will probably also not work)
