On two occasions I've had RCS messages show up days later. It seems to happen after an update, or may just a restart.
Just happened tonight. I installed the latest iOS 18.2 Beta 4, from Beta 2 I think. It happened a couple of weeks ago. I don't recall if I was using a beta, I may have still been on a public release iOS version.
It's Friday night, two messages appeared from two different people who use Android. They both appeared at 9:50 PM, which is about the time the update installed. One I'm sure was sent on Tuesday. The other was sent this morning. I know this because the nature of the message, not a time stamp or anything.
Also had a similar series of messages all showed up at 3:18 AM. All from Android users. All of which were probably sent days prior.
I started this post with the intention of solving the problem, etc. But now that I've thought about it I'm turning that bleep off. I'm not sure what real value it has for me being on. But I can't afford to miss messages as I use my phone for my work.
Anyone else find RCS useful? Will it ever be ready for prime time?
