So there seems to be a lot of opinions out there for a Remote Desktop application, with varying compatibility. I noticed WinAdmin, but it states Windows server 2000 and 2008, but no 2003 which I thought was odd. I also found iTAP RDP Client, but only 5 ratings overall, so I don't know if its new or unpopular.

Essentially we have several servers that use either Windows Server 2003 or 2008. Right now I VPN into our network and use Microsoft's Remote Desktop Client to log in to whatever LAN IP I enter for the given server I need access too, and bam, I'm done. I'm looking for something similarly simple. Just need to check things like if the server is functioning, make simple setting changes, and restart if necessary. Also, WinAdmin appears to be on sale for $8.00, down from its 12 or 13. Thoughts, suggestions?

Its more than twice the price. What's the advantage over the other two? Any other opinions/suggestions?

but does that work on server 2007? and what are the differences between the apps?
