I'm taking the plunge into a MacBoook Air as my primary work computer (had a Win7 laptop) and need advice on software. I was using mRemote to manage my RDP and VNC connections as it had a nice tree view for all my connections. Is there any freeware or open source programs similar for Mac OS X?

anyone ??

CoRD is a great open source RDP client.

You may also want to reread the rules so as not to get into trouble.

You could always use the tools included in OS X.
Just press cmd+k then in the address field type vnc://address_to_connect_to
it can also be used for smb, nfs etc....
And you can also press the + button to add it to the list so it's available next time.
The best part about the inbuilt VNC viewer is that when you connect to a dual screen computer, you can dynamically switch between the left, right or both screens.
