I just got my replacement Apple Card after several years using the card. I was secretly NOT looking forward to this as I imagined, like with my other cards, I would have to go to some crappy website and enter long strings of numbers and verification cycles and likely waste an hour.
Instead, when I opened a package the instructions included a simple picture indicating I should place my phone under the card.
That is what I did and within seconds my phone did all of the work of the activation for me with me having to do NOTHING.
I normally dont recycle anything out of laziness but the packaging was so intuitive to store the old card and includes a prepaid label too that it is almost easier to recycle this card than it is to throw it out!
I will be dropping it off at the mailbox tomorrow!
This is a job well done by Apple. Steve Jobs would be proud.
I can't think of anything to complain about which is unusual for me. My one complaint was that the stickers covering the adhesive for the recycling envelope dont have tabs to make them easy to pull off. Apple gets a score 99/100 in my gradebook.
