Hi all

I've searched but can't find anything...since updating to iOS13, my Music app is constantly crashing. The Apple 'genius' told me that I need to remove the app and start again. Trouble is, I have about 50gb of music that's a mix of my collection from my iTunes (RIP) and Apple Music. Since I can no longer sync with Apple Music, how on earth do I get all the music back on my phone without clicking into every album I want downloaded?! I've set the 'automatically download' when adding but I don't think this will bring back all the music I've got in my library now.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

..or, should I get the public beta of 13.2 and hope that fixes the Music app?!

What I did was control + A on my entire iTunes Library on computer and paste into a new playlist, so essentially your ENTIRE library in its own playlist, then hit download button on that "playlist". no issues, was then able to delete the playlist.

Just hopped back in to say what I did but it was a lot like this!:

What I did was control + A on my entire iTunes Library on computer and paste into a new playlist, so essentially your ENTIRE library in its own playlist, then hit download button on that "playlist". no issues, was then able to delete the playlist.

Prior to my Apple Music subscription, I synced a subset of songs I wanted from my library and did this using a particular playlist. Last night I scrolled back through the new Music app on my Mac and found it goes back much, much further in date order with all your 'recents'. This allowed me to just select from now to back in time and create a new playlist. These both synced with my iPhone and means if I have to go nuclear then at least I can get the music back that I want.

Still not stoked on having to download 50+gb of music again though!
