Hi, a friend of mine recently came to me asking if could fix his dad's old macbook, his little brother apparently deleted some of the system apps. he doesn't have any of the CDs that came with the box and i'm unable to install Snow Leopard using my own, Any suggestions?

It looks like the MacBook is a 13" Mid 2009 that shipped with OS 10.5.7 or 10.6 and the Max OS would be 10.11.6.

Installing Snow Leopard should work using the commercial disks from Apple, but any gray OS install disks that shipped with other Mac computers.
