Hi,
I've been having issues with my 6.1.2 since I JB. so decided to give the semi-restore a go but now I'm getting I need to connect my phone to iTunes for push notifications. Anyway I've decided to do a re-jailbreak. I'm on 6.1.2 and have an iPhone 4. I've looked and googled millions of websites. What I understood so far:
I can't upgrade it to 6.1.3 and I have to download the 6.1.2 firmware and restore from there. and jailbreak as usual.

Is that correct? I don't want to do something silly and stuck in 6.1.3 tethered..

any help will be appreciated.

thank you

Depends on what you want to do.

Need to rejailbreak after semi-restore? just rerun evasi0n.

Want to restore the firmware and rejailbreak? You need valid and complete blobs for 6.1.2, restore with those through sn0wbreeze, it will be jailbroken afterwards.

Thanks fellas, after opening the thread the other day I decided to give
semi-restore another go. It works fine at the moment, also backed up all the cydia apps and restore them with no problem.
my phone used to crash every 5 min and slow.
Looks like we're happy at the moment:)

But I appreciate all the help and it's good to keep in mind if I need a re-JB. Hopefully not until 7

Cheers
