Ok here is my situation I jailbroke my 3GS with 3.0 about 1 month ago with redsnow. My battery goes from 100% to 10% before noon so I am going to rejailbreak my phone. Since I am going to re-jailbreak I want to do it with 3.01using redsnow. So do I simply replace the 3.0 file with the 3.01?

I Shift Restore with 3.01 after it restores I then open redsnow and browse for 3.01 so it can patch it and jailbreak it?

Also where can I download 3.01?

Thanks

Upgrade to 3.0.1 in iTunes. Do DFU restore to 3.0.1, and then when you are jailbreaking it, when you are using redsn0w instead of choosing the 3.0.1 IPSW as your current firmware, choose the 3.0 firmware instead, and it will jailbreak the device, and still remain on 3.0.1.

You can find 3.0.1 in iTunes. And when you restore using Redsnow, I believe you point it at 3.0 and not 3.0.1 (it's 3.0 on 3G not sure about 3GS ... should be the same)
