macOS Re-ordering a tableView by dragging and dropping

I can't think of any examples where I've seen this kind of functionality, but I'm sure I have, so I was wondering, is there an easy way to do this in XCode, or am I gonna have to write some complicated code to make it happen?

That is indeed my answer. There may be some easier way that I know nothing of, not having studied Core Data. In any case, this is valuable stuff to learn and it only gets easier with practice.
