This is your public service announcement: When you initially install El Capitan, your computer may run slower than it will once it is finished indexing. That means that if you think El Capitan is "slow" in the first hour, or the first 12 hours, or the first day....give it some time. Then please feel free to continue your complaints.

I installed yesterday and yes she was indexing. Nothing unusual compared to Yosemite's indexing though (and my goodness Yosemite loved to index). But I did notice today when I started up my computer it booty to the desktop faster than it ever has on Yosemite. That I liked.
